Being more articulate

Had a really good conversation with Greg today, in which he gave me some very helpful insight into my leadership. Be more ariculate… Granted it is sort of my style to answer questions with questions or to wonder about things. “What if this was the case?” or “Perhaps this…” I don’t want to change that too much.

As Peter said,

…in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.

It might be helpful if people got a straight answer from me. I want my reasons to line up with my actions and vice versa. So I am going to start putting some things together. I will try to describe better where I am NOW and WHY. I will try to describe why what I believe about certain things implicate a certain action by me. Not everyone will agree or understand, but at least I will have articulated.

I will work on them off the blog and if people give me some ideas in the comments here, I will post. I’ll start with why I don’t vote (being more direct than I have before) and what I believe about “the church.”

Any other ideas?
