We can live for a minute without air, a few days or so without water and a month without food. It is about giving life to others, sharing our gifts of God, being generous with the life giving things that come from God. While it is also fun to have people enjoy what we prepare for others to eat, it is even more about giving life to others because all are deserving of the life provided by the good earth and by God. So, we give freely to others to show our oneness and our love for others. After breathing, and water, food is the essences of life.
